Black Bears For White Days/ White Bears For Black Days | 2016

An artistic work that expresses its idea through the space and the possibilities of the pop-up book. The main topic of the book is the theme of Bulgarian proverbs and sayings, an integral part of Bulgarian folk art. The pop-up element as a visual-illustrative concept is conditional and instead of narrating the story of the proverb, it introduces a new meaning. The book is black and white and it doesn’t matter which side you open first as the black and white meet in the middle and change places.
