Unlike the famous and socially recognized ladies celebrated in literature and art, everyday heroines remain in the background. The series draws attention to those no less special women who run their own businesses and whose work and contribution to society unobtrusively adds to the daily comfort of everyone.
Through charmingly detailed illustrations and short interviews, graphic designer Maria Kalcheva Tonnelier focuses on the work of these ladies to encourage each of us to look for the unexpected heroines who build our environment, unobtrusively take care of others and without noise and fanfare invisibly contribute to the well-being of society.
